Tony Abbott D.Ch. graduated in 1993 from the Chiropody program at the Michener Institute of Applied Sciences (Chiropody Program) in Toronto after studying at McGill University in Montreal. He was a Chiropodist in Kenora, ON for 2 years and a Chiropodist at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital for 8 years. In 2003, Tony started his private practice and now operates the Abbott Foot & Ankle Clinic, the most comprehensive foot clinic in the area. In 2011, he added the Heel Pain Centre to his clinic to address the needs of the population that was suffering from heel pain. He spends a large part of his day providing custom foot orthotics to the residents of Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, and the surrounding area.
Tony is registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario and is a longstanding member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodists and previous member of the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine.
While not at work, Tony enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing and just being outdoors with his wife and three young girls.
