Are you injury free and pain free? No sore feet, heel pain, athletes’ foot or any of those other conditions that come from running and sweaty running shoes? Well then at this point it sounds like you’re doing ok. Very few runners ever avoid injuries, be it an overuse injury, such as heel pain or tendonitis, or something more serious, such as a stress fracture or ripped tendon. If you’re a runner, I can’t stress how important it is to know the biomechanics of your feet and have them check by a professional. A pair of custom orthotics can easily be the answer to overuse injuries and pain when running that comes from the mechanical instability in your feet.
